Why imagine the future?
Because most beautiful things
have to be imagined first, before they can happen.
In a time of rapid change, the thought of glimpsing what the world might look like fifty years from now thrills me — endlessly.
Writing these predictions down is two assignments I set for myself:
First, to train my own judgment. Most predictions will turn out wrong, but that does not stop me from learning from the mistakes — and learning is fun.
Second, to pick a future I am willing to believe in, join it, and work to make it real.
